Privacy Notice

Last Updated: August 2, 2026

This notice explains what personal data Strategic Logic Group LLP collects when you use juststocktrades.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Strategic Logic Group LLP is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We operate juststocktrades.com, a subscription service that publishes the trading activity of our own investment accounts.

You can reach us about anything in this notice, including to exercise your rights, at support@updates.juststocktrades.com.

2. What we collect

Account data: your name, email address, and login credentials. Credentials are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see your password.

Subscription data: your subscription status, plan, and billing history. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a record that a payment succeeded or failed, but we never receive or store your card number.

Support data: the contents of emails you send us and our replies.

Usage data: pages visited and general interaction with the site, collected in aggregate and not used to build a profile of you.

Technical data: your IP address, which reaches our hosting and security providers on every request you make to the site. We use it to keep the service available and to rate-limit abuse, and it is held for short periods — minutes to an hour — in our rate-limiting store.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To provide the service you subscribed to — creating your account, authenticating you, and giving you access to the dashboards. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.

To take payment and manage your subscription. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.

To answer your support requests. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.

To send you the trade digest email, if you opt in to it. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

To keep the service secure and working, including rate limiting and abuse prevention. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its subscribers.

4. What you have to give us, and what happens if you do not

An email address and a password are required to create an account and to reach the subscription content. They are a requirement of the contract between us: without them we cannot create your account, sign you in, or give you access to the dashboards, so the service cannot be provided at all.

Card details are required to start a paid subscription. You give them to Stripe rather than to us, but without them the subscription cannot begin.

The trade digest opt-in is genuinely optional. Declining it has no effect on your account, your subscription, or anything else on the site.

5. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects for you or similarly significantly affect you. Nothing on this site scores, ranks, or profiles subscribers, and no automated system decides whether you get an account, what you pay, or what you can see.

The only automated checks we run are the security ones described above — rate limiting on requests — and they look at request volume, not at you as a person.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage, and support infrastructure), Stripe (payments and subscription billing), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (site hosting, and the page-performance measurements collected on every page you open), Upstash (the rate-limiting store, which holds your IP address for short periods), Umami (privacy-focused, cookieless site analytics), and Giscus (blog comments, which run on GitHub).

The price charts on the site are embedded from TradingView, on both the public pages and the subscriber dashboards. When one loads, TradingView receives your IP address and basic browser information directly and applies its own privacy policy.

We may disclose data where we are legally required to, such as in response to a valid legal process.

7. Where your data is processed

Strategic Logic Group LLP is based in Massachusetts, United States, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your personal data is transferred outside your home jurisdiction.

The destination is the United States. There is no general European Commission adequacy decision covering these transfers: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework only covers transfers to organizations that have self-certified under it, and we do not rely on it here. So the transfer rests on the derogation described next, not on adequacy.

Where such a transfer happens, we rely on Article 49(1)(b) of the GDPR: the transfer is necessary to perform the contract you entered into with us, because the service you subscribed to is operated from and hosted in the United States.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you close your account, we delete it within 90 days, except where we must keep something longer.

We keep billing records for seven years, because tax and accounting law requires it.

We keep support correspondence for two years after the conversation ends.

Aggregate usage analytics are not linked to you and are retained indefinitely in aggregate form.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to processing we base on legitimate interests, and to receive it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email support@updates.juststocktrades.com. We will respond within one month. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

11. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site, principally to keep you signed in. These cannot be turned off without breaking authentication.

Our site analytics provider, Umami, does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.

Blog comments are provided by Giscus, which loads content from GitHub. If you interact with comments, GitHub receives that request and applies its own privacy policy.

Pages that show a price chart load it from TradingView. That happens as soon as the page renders, including on pages you can see without signing in.

12. Complaints

If you think we have handled your personal data improperly, please tell us first at support@updates.juststocktrades.com so we can try to put it right.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, and you can do so without contacting us first.

13. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing the date.
